"The aptly named Never Ending Story was just amazing in its diversity. This is a site where you can go down very deep, the first plateau is at about 30 metres, and below that the wall steeply falls off to great depths. I won't say just how deep we went, but in the space of five minutes we had seen numerous reef sharks, had a close encounter with a hammerhead, been in the middle of several hundred schooling barracuda, and seen over a dozen 100-kilo dogtooth tuna. This is what diving must have been like before commercial fisheries removed much of the pelagic life from the seas."
